Your NEPSE portfolio, counted down to the last rupee

Commission, SEBON fee, DP charge and capital gains tax are already counted. The profit you see is what you take home.

What a sale really leaves you

Try your own numbers. This is the sum Lagani does for every trade.

Keep an honest record of what you own

Every buy, sell, bonus and rights issue, with the costs that usually get left out.

Cost that includes every charge

Each holding carries its weighted average cost (WACC) with broker commission, SEBON fee and DP charge counted in, so you know your real break-even price. IPO allotments, bonus shares and rights are handled as what they are.

100 shares bought at Rs 400
Price paidRs 40,000.00
ChargesRs 175.00
Your break-even per shareRs 401.75

Import from MeroShare and TMS

Upload the transaction history CSV you export from MeroShare, or the trade book Excel file from your broker's TMS. Lagani reads the file; it never asks for your MeroShare or TMS password.

Before you place an order, see what a sale would leave after commission, fees and capital gains tax at the short-term or long-term rate, the same sum as the one on this page but run on your own holdings.

See how you are really doing

A gain on paper is not a return. Lagani measures the return.

Your portfolioNEPSE index
A drawing of the performance chart, not anyone's results.
  • XIRR, not just profit and loss

Your annualised return, which accounts for when each rupee went in and came out. It is the fair way to compare money added at different times.

  • Against the NEPSE index

A performance chart that sets your portfolio beside the index over the same period, so you can tell skill from a rising market.

  • Insights and what-ifs

What averaging down would do to your cost, the price you need for the profit you want, and what an announced bonus or rights issue would change.

  • Reports, statements and PDF

Realised capital gains and charges by fiscal year, an account statement, and a portfolio report you can save as a PDF.

Study a stock before you act

Charts, fundamentals and a screener for the companies listed on NEPSE, and signals you can check for yourself instead of tips to follow.

Lagani reads each scrip's past prices and volumes with one fixed set of rules, the same for every company: moving averages, RSI, MACD, volume and where the price sits in its 52-week range. The result is one of five readings.

  • Stock analysis

Candlestick charts with moving averages and other indicators, the company's fundamentals such as earnings per share and book value, and how it compares with others in its sector.

  • Market screener

Filter listed scrips by sector and by ready-made views such as breaking out, steady uptrend, oversold, or near the year's low.

  • Market overview

The NEPSE index through the day, the top gainers and losers, turnover by sector, and how the scrips you hold are moving.

  • Every rule is shown

Open a signal to see each rule and how many points it added or took away. Nothing is a black box.

  • A track record beside each reading

For each scrip, Lagani shows how the price went on to move after the same reading in the past, compared with simply holding.

  • Not financial advice

Signals are automated, rule-based readings of history. They say nothing certain about what any price will do, and the decision to buy or sell is yours.
